David and Linda Scott, and family, bought the resort in August, 2000 because of their love of horses and horseback riding in a peaceful, rural setting, unfettered by the outside world. They renamed it Blue Sky Resort and Ranch so that they could share this experience and meet new friends who would enjoy rustic camping in an equestrian setting. They've already put lots of work into it and there is plenty more to go as David is getting the campsites ready.
